With more than 20yrs experience living and working in Ibiza as a DJ, Music Producer and Ableton Live Instructor.

Heath is able to give his students a unique perspective and insight into the world of Electronic Music.

Heath’s musical journey started in the mid 90’s, with house and techno music, in his home town of Adelaide, South Australia.

A weekly night out clubbing with a group of mates, would later become the catalyst to start DJing.

As soon as Heath discovered he could play music and make others dance, he knew what he wanted to do with the rest of his life.

Over a career spanning more than 20years, Heath has honed his craft amongst the best there is, playing alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Chris Liebing,  Hernan Cattaneo, Fat Boy Slim and many more..

After playing other peoples music for many years, it was only a matter of time before Heath felt the desire to learn how to produce his own music.

After a brief period working in Logic, Heath would make the switch to producing in Ableton Live. The DAW he felt most creative and comfortable using.

Together with gaining the support of some the best DJ’s & Music Producers around the world. Heath has released his music on influential labels such as Yoshitoshi, Toolroom,  Monique, Wiggle, and many more.

Always looking to the future and not the past,
Heath began in 2014 to teach private Ableton Live lessons to fellow DJ’s looking to produce their own music.

Before in 2018 joining the team at Point Blank Music School’s Ibiza campus as their Ableton Live Music Production Instructor, responsible for teaching both the beginner and advanced modules, along with reworking their Ableton curriculum.

During his time as an Ableton Trainer, Heath has worked with hundreds of students helping them to develop their skills and reach their full potential.

In 2020, he founded Learn from Ho(l)me as a way to connect with students around the world.

Entirely self taught, Heath knows only too well the challenges one faces in learning how to produce your own music.

Heath has built a reputation as an instructor who cares, who is willing to go the extra mile to help his students achieve success.

Recent times have seen Heath look inwards towards his aspirations for the future, and as a result, he’s dedicated a large portion of his time to

a variety of new music projects, including the design & creation of sample packs and instrument presets. For labels such as Abstract and Undrgrnd Sounds.

What People Are Saying

Tyler Runham

Heath is awesome! I reached out to him looking to hone my skills in ableton live. He responded very quickly and helped me schedule a session at my convenience. He is very knowledgeable, explains things in a very easy to understand manner and genuinely cares about the students success. He answers any questions you may have, provides excellent training and feedback, and even throws a few questions your way to see if you are paying attention :p I would highly recommend reaching out to Heath if you are looking to learn ableton live or level up your production skills!

So you know that thing you have a question about? He has an answer, and an answer for the questions you didn't even know to ask. Think you're getting everything out of Ableton? Oh, It's iceberg time....... and you're not seeing all the insane functionality that lies beneath the water line. Heath is not only awesome, but kind and funny and insanely knowledgeable. I just learned something I'd been wondering about for years. I can't wait for our next lesson. Now excuse me while I go down a rabbit hole of new techniques I just learned. Heath will teach you how to sound and produce like you. The tools are there and he's the best choice you could make for your art. 5 stars isn't enough. Truly.....

Heath covered everything we had agreed before the session plus extra bits on top. He even went beyond the lesson time to answer some more questions that I had. 10/10
